Timber sales and marketing 

  • Select and mark trees for harvest based upon your management objectives.

  • Market those trees for sale to all Licensed and Insured Timber Buyers within 60 – 120 miles of your property.

  • Provide Timber Sale Contract between you and the buyer.

  • Manage the harvesting operation in order to insure your property is left in the condition which meets your satisfaction.

Timber appraisals

  • Measure and estimate the current standing timber volume and value on your property.

  • Excellent for estates or if you are considering selling your property. (The value of timber is normally not included in the appraised value of land.)

Timber Inventories

  • Measure and estimate all merchantable standing timber either by 100% measure or by taking sample points throughout the property.

  • Used to help establish a basis for taxation.

Timber Management Plans

  • Create long term management plans to assist you with proper forest management techniques.

  • Provides proper management schedules to maximize growth and profit potential from your woodland.

Timber Stand Improvement

  • Eliminates undesirable, low value tree species so the higher quality crop trees can grow more efficiently.

  • Controls and removes invasive species such as bush honeysuckle, Japanese honeysuckle, garlic mustard, and ailanthus.

  • Reduces undesirable tree species in regeneration openings.

  • Controls damaging grapevines.

Tree / Shrub Planting and Reforestation

  • Reforestation of unproductive crop fields or old pastured areas.

  • Travel corridors for deer and other wildlife.

  • Excellent for ground enrolled in Conservation Programs such as; Wetland Reserve Program (WRP), Wildlife Habitat Improvement Program (WHIP), Conservation Reserve Program (CRP), Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP), and Environmental Quality Improvement Program (EquiP).
